Fundraising For The Trevor Project

UPDATE: After much consideration, we've made the decision to cancel the fundraiser announced earlier, as we wish to unite behind a fundraiser due to be held by Dawko on June 26th. Thank you for your understanding.

To the community,

Like many of you, I was shocked and deeply disappointed to hear news of Scott Cawthon's donations to Republican groups, including multiple times to Donald Trump's 2020 presidential campaign. These donations are to a party and to candidates that actively work against the rights of LGBT americans, and minorities around the country, and are completely contrary to everything that this community stands for.

I understand that the community is angry, and that anger is complely justified. But I want to turn that anger into a force for good. So I am announcing today that The FNaF Archive will be fundraising for The Trevor Project.

The Trevor Project is a fantastic organiztion that helps LGBT youth in need, a group that is disproportionately vulnerable to bullying, rejection, depression, and suicidal contemplation. It is a group that works every day to advance LGBT equality.

I am asking for the community to come together, to take our anger and to turn it into something positive. These donations have hurt people, but we can make donations of our own to help people. I've set a goal of $1000, which I know our community can reach, and potentially go well beyond.
